Education, training, and experience.  Please see CV on download page

Do you accept insurance?  I accept Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and a number of other insurance carriers under the Cresent umbrella.  Please call your insurance company to learn specifically about your psychological-emotional-behavioral (mental) health benefits.  You need to know if they will pay for services, if you have a deductible, what your co-pay is, and if there is a limit on the number of sessions you are allowed.

Do you have a sliding scale?  Yes.  If you do not have insurance and would like to request that fees be based upon a sliding scale, I will need proof of family income, number of dependents, and number of family members (in the home).  See applicaiton for sliding scale on download page.

What treatment modalities do you use?  I use a variety of therapeutic approaches - cognitive; cognitive-behavioral; psychodynamic; interpersonal; family systems; existential.  The type of treatment depends on the specific problem, needs, situation, goals, and personality dynamics.  During the initial consultation, I will gather background information needed to assess your needs.  I will provide feedback, and make recommendations and suggestions on how to achieve your goals.

Do you provide medication?  No.  I will collaborate with your physician on medication issues, or refer you to a physician if necessary.

What are your office hours?  Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
